This policy explains how FieldPro (“we”) processes personal data when you use our website and mobile applications. We process data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). FieldPro is the data controller; you can reach our privacy team at support@fieldpro.tech.
We process data to operate the marketplace (matching jobs with nearby professionals, enabling chat and payments) under contract necessity; to meet legal obligations (invoicing, tax, fraud prevention); and with your consent for optional features such as marketing emails and push notifications, which you can withdraw at any time.
Job details are shared with professionals eligible to quote; contact details are shared between customer and professional only after a booking is formed.
We use processors including Supabase (database and authentication, EU region), Stripe (payments), Google (maps and sign-in) and Firebase (push notifications). Each processes data under a data processing agreement.
We never sell personal data.
Account data is retained while your account is active. Invoices and transaction records are kept for 10 years as required by Italian tax law. Chat and job history are retained for 24 months after job completion, then anonymised.
You have the right to access, rectify, port and erase your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Deactivate your account from the dashboard, or email support@fieldpro.tech for full erasure — completed within 30 days except where retention is legally required.
You may lodge a complaint with the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in EU data centres, and protected by row-level security so each user can only access their own records. Access by our staff is logged and limited to need.
